In 1999, Captain Mike won the Cacique award
from the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism for
outstanding contribution in the area of
sports and leisure. Captain Michael Brown
is a fourth generation captain and fisherman.
He began working on boats in 1952, at the
age of thirteen. He received his Master’s
License in 1957. Mike has had successful
19-year career as a private captain, Mike
bought his first yacht in 1975.
He will design the cruising adventure of your choice using his in-depth knowledge
of the islands. Captain Mike is distinguished by its committment to sustainable tourism
development in balance with nature. Captain Mike represented the Bahamas at the World
Congress on Adventure Travel and Eco-Tourism. Captain Mike is a champion fisherman,
and the most respected charter boat captain in the country today

available for light tackle reef fishing and bottom fishing.
